Idlewild Review!!!

The heavily anticipated movie from the dynamic duo Outkast pays homage to the 1930’s prohibition gangster era and follows Big Boi and Andre 3000’s musical journey through the small town of ….Idlewild.

The film is beautifully shot with authentic attention to detail provided in the music, dancing and fashion of the period. The film also appears to mirror the real life often versatile relationship between BBoi and Dre (people in their circle call them that..lol) and although they hardly appear in any scene together we still get the overwhelming bond between them.

Visually stunning, this film is clearly a labour of love for Outkast with Big Boi’s charismatic personality complimenting Andre’s shy and retiring persona makes this film a must see.

A definite shoe in for an Oscar!
