JET LI'S FEARLESS REVIEW!

Last week I saw, Jet Li’s last martial arts epic, Fearless in Canary Wharf. I was so disappointed as I found the film to be relent-less-ly, wit-less, what-less and taste-less (and every other negative ‘less’ word).

The film was straight up wickedy, wickedy wack and the storyline moves - from Jet Li fighting in the ultimate tournament to him planting crops in some village - with the same sort of consistency as a runny egg! The film is actually quite diabolical and has the feel of two films shoot into one. A stand out performance was the blind girl/love interest but she did not play much of a role in this turkey. The martial arts scenes are sub standard and doesn’t offer anything new that crouching tiger hidden dragon (CTHD) covered even though they had the same producer. Jet Li looks plain old haggard in this 103 minute nonsense and the only blessing is that I didn’t have to pay to see it.
